Amenity Carehomes is a Residential Care Facilty for the Elderly licensed by the California Care Licensing Division.  Our main facility, Comfort of Homes Gavirate is located in Elk Grove, CA. We offer six private rooms which are fully furnished with all the requirements such as a bed, dresser, night stand, chair. Rooms are centarally heated and air conditioned, as well as cable ready with a television. each residents will have their own care plan tailor made for their needs and are equipped to care for them.  We guarantee a healthy atmosphere with balanced and nutritional meals that are prepared daily.

Our staff in our Comforts of Home Gavirate facility are experienced and trained to care for the elderly. They are trained monthly in Dementia care, medication management, and emergency procedures.  Each employee is carefully screened and undergoes both criminal and drug background check prior to starting employment.  

 

To protect our residents and staff, our facility requires COVID-19 checks prior to entering and visiting their loved ones. This includes signing in and out and temperature checks. Cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces performed daily.

What is a RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly)

RCFE are commonly referred to as Care Homes or Residential Care, include Assisted Living, Continuing care Retirement Communities for seniors who are over age 60 and over. Aside from housing, these facilities offer care to senior residents along with assistance to their day-to-day living, physical activities, and meal preparation.

RCFEs encourage the involvement and support of family and community members to maintain or improve the quality of life for their residents. Residents have access to a host of supportive services, such as housekeeping, personal care, dressing, bathing, and the safekeeping and distribution of medications to its residents for self-administration.
